Gaagua

געגוע - הדיסק השניGaagua, Elisete's second CD was released in 2006.
Elisete named the album Gaagua (Longing) because although she feels an Israeli she still has longing to the Brazil she left behind – To the children on the rooftops flying kites in the colors of Brazil and to all her childhood memories. Elisete uses the colors she brought from Brazil to portrait our reality in her songs.

The songs reflect Elisete as she is: An almost impossible mixture of simple words touching directly to your soul with Brazilian rhythms that just make you dance. Elisete's optimism and her radiant smile echo along the entire album and allow us to get carried away to the sun bathed Brazil she carries in her hart.

The album is dedicated to the late Ehud Manor that was so supportive to young artists and that accompanied Elisete during the release of her songs to the radio.

In Gaagua Elisete goes another step further beyond singing and writing the lyrics and melodies and she is an active partner in all the production stages including writing the arrangements.   >>

Elisete - remixes
Elisete - remixes

Elisete – remixes was released in the end of 2006. The album contains songs from Elisete's two previous albums – ' Luar e café' and 'Gaagua' that got remixed versions and also new songs in electronics arrangements.

Elisete: "This album was produced with the inspiration from my audience. I just got a huge amount of requests from people from Israel and from abroad asking to hear my songs in electronic versions as well. Anyone that liked my previous albums will be able now to enjoy them in clubs and on dance floors as well".

The electronic music world is not a foreign land for Elisete and one can find hints of it in the previous albums. After releasing her CD 'Gaagua' and after having two of her songs included in the sound track of the successful Israeli movie 'Habooa' ('The bubble') it wa only natural that Elisete would pay attention to electronic music. The production of the album was made by Elisete in collaboration with leading producers of the electronic scene that loved her music and wanted to take part in the project.

The album contains songs in Portuguese and it is distributed in Israel as well as abroad.  >>

My colors

My ColorsThe Israeli-Brazilian singer Elisete proves again that she is not only a breath taking beauty but also one of Israel's original and talented artists. These days she releases the first singlesfrom her third acoustic album, soon to be released.

In parallel to the life in Israel Elisete speaks about the end of the era of incense, she looks inside to the longing and pain' lets herself free from the need to make people happy at all cost and creates a work with unique colors.

The new album was produced by Israeli-Brazilian producer Avi Levin with the collaboration of Elisete, Ron Laor and Rony Ben-Ezra. The album was recorded half in Israel and Half in Brazil and it reflects Elisete as she sees herself – Half Israeli and half Brazilian. This is also why the album was written with half of the songs in Hebrew and half in Portuguese. The album created is acoustic and contemporary, lyric, melancholic sometimes and very romantic.  >>
