Gaagua (Longing) - The new CD

Elisete's second album 'Gaagua' is now released to the stores!
Elisete named the album 'Gaagua' (Longing) because although she loves being an Israeli she is longing for the Brazil she left behind - The children on roof tops flying kites with the Brazilian colors and all her childhood memories. Using the colors she brought from Brazil Elisete portraits our reality through her songs.
The songs resemble Elisete: An almost impossible mix of simple words that touch deep in your soul with Brazilian rhythms and melodies that just make you dance. Elisete's optimism and huge smile echoes through the entire album making it easy to get carried away by her songs into the sunny Brazil she carries in her heart.
The album is dedicated to the late Ehud Manor, one of Israel's greatest song writers that has supported Elisete along the way.
In Gaagua Elisete goes beyond singing and writing the songs and lyrics and she is actively involved in all the production stages including the arrangements.
The album is distributed (In Israel) by IMP Records.

Songs released as singles to the radio
Elisete released 4 singles to the radio. The singles Ga'agua and Belibi Keev (My heart aches) had video clips produced for them and they are shown on the Channel 24 (The Israeli music channel).

'Luar e Cafe' (Moon and Coffee) - The first CD

Elisete's first CD - 'Luar e Cafe' (Moon and Coffee) was released in March 2004.
The CD holds 15 original songs written by Elisete (Lyrics and melody).

The album summarizes a year of intensive work trying to portrait through music her life in Brazil and in Israel. The album received many enthusiastic reviews and in addition to hearing the songs on many radio stations you can also see video clips of the songs Capoeira and Tipat Osher (A little happiness)on TV Channel 24 (The Israeli music channel).

Elisete - Remixes

After her two successful albums released in Israel: 'Luar e Cafe' and 'Gaagua', Elisete is returning with a new album of remixes: 'Elisete - Remixes'. The album includes old and also new songs that got a remix version.

Elisete: "This album was inspired by my audience and fans. Many of them requested to hear my songs also in an electronic version. Now, all those that liked my albums, in Israel as well as abroad, can enjoy them in clubs as well."

Electronic music is not unfamiliar to Elisete. Significant traces of it can be found in her previous albums. After the release of 'Gaagua' and after two of her songs were included in the Israeli movie 'Ha bua' (The Bubble), it was only natural for Elisete to accept the proposals of many producers and DJs in Israel to remix her songs. The production of this CD was made by Elisete and other prominent Israeli producers. The new album contains mostly her songs in Portuguese.
